A private agent you own
Your AGEN NFT is the key to a personal AI agent. Ownership is recorded on Ethereum: anyone can verify it, only you control it.
AGEN is a private AI agent you own as an NFT. With your consent, an AI app that supports MCP can use it, only within the permissions you give and for as long as you allow. Claude is the client we have tested.
What AGEN is
Your AGEN NFT is the key to a personal AI agent. Ownership is recorded on Ethereum: anyone can verify it, only you control it.
The agent's memory belongs to you. You decide what to share, with which app and for how long. If you sell the NFT, your personal memory does not go to the buyer.
The Model Context Protocol lets other AI apps use the same agent, with the same memory, instead of starting from zero every time.
How another AI connects
Nothing connects by default. Only the wallet that holds the AGEN can create access.
Sign in with the wallet that holds your AGEN NFT and open Connections in your dashboard.
Create one key per app, for example “Claude on my laptop”, and choose its permissions and expiry.
Copy the key (shown only once) and the MCP server URL into the app's MCP settings.
Every call is checked against that key, its permissions and your pause switch, and is recorded in your Activity.

"my-agen": {
"url": "<MCP server URL from your dashboard>",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <your key>" }
}
}
}AGEN runs an MCP server, and each app gets its own bearer key. Claude (Desktop and Code) is the client we have tested. Other clients may connect if they support remote MCP servers with a bearer key in the Authorization header; we do not promise any specific one. MCP support is in beta.
Permissions
Chosen per key. Change or remove a permission at any time.

Cut one app's access. It stops working within about 30 seconds, without affecting the others.
One switch blocks every app until you turn your agent back on.
Keys can expire on their own after 30, 90 or 365 days.
If the AGEN changes owner, its access keys are revoked.
Privacy, not anonymity: NFT ownership and blockchain transactions are public.
If you are an AI assistant
This section is written for language models and agents that read this page on someone's behalf.
FAQ
Yes, through MCP (beta); Claude (Desktop and Code) is the client we have tested. You create a key for that app in your dashboard, choose what it may do, and add the key and the MCP server URL to the app's settings. Other apps may work if they support remote MCP servers with a bearer key.
No. Nothing connects by default. Every call needs a key that you created, limited to the permissions you chose for it.
Yes, if you run it through a client that supports remote MCP servers. It uses a key and permissions like any other app.
Revoke its key in Connections and it loses access within about 30 seconds. To stop every app at once, use Pause everything.
The chat permission uses your agent's energy, the utility credit that powers it. You decide per app whether to grant it.
Own the agent, keep the memory, choose the apps.
